The DYFL has a long standing philosophy of trying to make playing youth sport affordable for everyone.  In that spirit all registrants receive raffle tickets (value equal to your registration fees already paid)  

Sold tickets get turned into the DYFL and placed in a raffle drawing that is held during the season typically during a practice time or pre-season party.   The raffle drawing date is printed on the ticket. (Winners need not be present.) 

Winners are notified by the DYFL and the results posted on the website and social media accounts.  Funds are distributed directly from the DYFL via check after the winners have been notified.   


Families "Play for Free" by balancing the registration fee with the generated ticket sales.  FAMILIES KEEP THE REVENUE COLLECTED FROM THEIR TICKET SALES thereby offsetting the registration fee.  Sold ticket stubs will be turned into the appropriate DYFL representative the week leading up to the drawing.  All unsold tickets need to be returned prior to the drawing.

Raffle ticket distribution to DYFL families will be specified at a later date however will likely be during  one of our jersey, uniform, equipment fitting times.
